Mixers

Soundcraft

The core of most PA systems is the mixer. We use Soundcraft Ui24R which are state of the art and are operated wirelessly via tablet. We also have a Ui12. These mixers eliminate the need for bulky traditional sound desks and the annoying cable runs that go with them. It has built in Studer pre-amps, Lexicon effects, dbx compression and auto feedback suppression. These mixers allow stereo mix recording to USB stick and/or DAW (Digital Audio Workstation, e.g. Reaper) and the Ui24R also allows multi-channel recording to USB stick.

Loudspeakers

Turbosound

Turbosound loudspeakers are British-designed and engineered and known for their clarity. We use iQ15 on their own for mid-power full range systems, and as the tops for higher-powered systems..

Wharfedale Pro

British-designed, we have four compact Titan Sub A15 MkII subwoofers for adding serious low end power to most of our systems.

Other

Our standard stage monitors are loud but compact Studiomaster Sense 12A+ with coaxial 12″ drivers. For smaller front of house systems, additional monitoring or fill duties we also have 10″ Behringer and 5″ dB Technologies cabinets. These can be paired with one or two of the Titan subs for a bass heavy but compact system in smaller spaces.

Where tops are used in conjunction with subs we always ensure the crossovers are frequency and phase aligned for optimal audio quality.

Other

You can tell an RCM Audio live event from our signature red audio signal cables.

For plugging in instruments and line-level sources we use the industry standard Behringer Ultra-DI DI100 active direct inject boxes.
